On the evenings of March 20th and 21st, ArabNet Beirut attendees will be treated to 2 unique outings where they will be able to experience Beirut as a unique global destination for food and design. On the evening of the 20th, guests will have the chance take part of the Designer Tour and discover the city’s creative design studios and individuals, while on the 21st, foodies will get to savor a selection of signature items of Beirut’s well known and up and coming F&B establishments.

The Designer Tour- March 20, 6:00-9:00 PM

On the 1st night of the conference, following Design + Code Day attendees will be transported to 4 of the top creative outlets in the city and will have the chance to meet the designers and dynamic figures behind them. Each stop will include a 20-30 minute reception and presentations where designers share their experiences and showcase products. Participating studios include Plan-Bey, Starch, Spare Arts Gallery and Karim Bekdache Studio.

Taste of Beirut - March 21, 8:30 - 11:00 PM

Held in Partnership with Beirut Digital District and in Collaboration with the Lebanese Syndicate of Restaurants, Taste of Beirut offers conference participants a unique chance to sample the best food and beverages in town. Additionally, attendees will be able to share pictures and comments on their favorite dishes and drinks from the night using a dedicated Facebook app, while enjoying live music! Participating restaurants and beverage providers include: Almaza, Bread Republic Cantina, Couqley, Crave, Gustav, Chateau Ksara, Chateau Musar, Chateau St. Thomas, St. Elmo's, Jai Beirut, 961 Beer, Nasma and Secteur 75.
