Shlepster is a platform that allows users to deliver items for each other over remote destinations. Users can either list their travel routes or the location of an item that they would like to be delivered to them in addition to the location of the delivery.

The system will then notify travelers and recipients once a match is found and connect them through a messaging system to work out the details of the transaction and the fee. Users will also build their own network within Shlepster around people that they have interacted with and that delivered successfully forming their list of trusted users.

When asked about any direct competitor System Architect Bassem Dghaidy emphasized that Shlepster is a new idea and that no similar services exist yet. Bassem also cited setting up the system behind Shlepster, the messaging service, and designing the user interface as the biggest challenges they faced.

Shlepster is a service created by TAGinnovation, or “Cleartag Innovation Labs", and is set for Beta launch on October 15 for a limited number of users.
