Digital news portal InteractiveME just released their first infographic, executed by Bayan.at, which highlights key trends on the use of social media in the UAE and KSA. The infographic brought to light several key stats for social marketers, among which is the fact that, on average in the 2 studied countries, 80% of respondents say that social advertising increased their interest in a brand or product, but for 15%, liking or following a brand actually translates into purchases. Additionally, the infographic crowns Facebook as the undisputed king of online with almost 9 out of 10 of respondents citing it as their first online activity ahead of chatting and email.
