Entrepreneurs, investors, developers and designers are set to gather next month in Startup Weekend Beirut. The event, which will take place on the 6th, 7th and 8th of July in Berytech, is a 54 hour event (2.5 days) where participants pitch their ideas in the first day, form teams, and execute their ideas to turn them into reality throughout a weekend. At the end of the weekend, participants present their ideas to a list of prominent judges and get the chance to win valuable cash prizes.
Additionally, the Lebanese Minister of Telecom, Mr. Nicolas Sehnaoui, will distribute the prizes, give a speech, and have a focused user-group with students and entrepreneurs to discuss the future of technology in the country.
