The Startup Demo competition aims to showcase the best of regional startups to an enthusiastic crowd of investors, incubators, digital professionals, as well as connect entrepreneurs with the world of digital. Submit your startup to the Startup Demo competition for a chance to pitch on stage at ArabNet Beirut 2016!

Eligibility Criteria
- Startup must be less than 2 years old
- Startup must have less than 10 employees
- Startup must have less than $1M in investment
- Startup must be functional before competition deadline
- Startup must be a web or mobile application

A panel of judges will review submissions and shortlist the finalists. Judging is based on the following criteria: value proposition, target market, competitive advantage, business model, innovation, team qualifications and market/sales strategy.
Based on the results, 10 finalists and 5 runner-ups will be chosen.
Finalists will be announced: February 08, 2016

Finalists:
- Receive 2 free passes to the full ArabNet Beirut 2016 event
- Do a 5-min presentation of their startup at the ArabNet Beirut Conference
(Finalists will be given several rounds of guided training and presentation feedback prior to the Conference)
- Exhibit their startup at the TechFair during Forum days

Runners-Up:
- Receive 2 free passes to the full ArabNet Beirut 2016 event
- Exhibit their startup at the TechFair during Forum days

In the instance where a finalist cannot make it to the event, is disqualified, or withdraws, runners-up will be contacted to replace the missing finalist (in chosen order).

Winners receive a free booth at the Digital Showcase, during the ArabNet Digital Summit 2016 in Dubai, in May.

Registering to attend the Conference
Once you submit to the Startup Demo competition, your application is processed by our team ensuring it is complete and meets the eligibility criteria.
Upon approval, you will receive an email titled "Your Startup Demo Submission Has Been Approved!"
this email contains a promo-code that looks like this: "X3QHHKZLmJ0" valid for one use only.

Go to the registration page and enter the promo-code, in order to receive the discounted Entrepreneur rate for the conference. Startup Demo and Ideathon applicants ONLY are eligible for the Entrepreneur rate.

Deadline for Early Bird Registration: January 11
Deadline for Regular Registration: February 15
Late Bird Registration Deadline: February 29
On-site registration is available at the door during the conference.

Logistics
StartUp Demo and Ideathon finalists will be pitching on stage on March 2nd, during ArabNet Beirut 2016. They are required to be present at the conference venue (Hilton Habtoor Grand Hotel, Sin el Fil) one day in advance on March 1st for the last round of pitch training.

Winners will be announced during the closing ceremony on March 3rd.
