Minister of State for Administrative Reform, Founder and President of the May Chidiac Foundation
May Chidiac has been a Professor of Journalism and Radio/Television at the Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU) since 1997. She received her PhD in Information and Communication Sciences from Paris II Panthéon-Assas University with honorable distinction. May was producer and presenter of the prime time political talk show "Bi Kol Joraa" (With Audacity), on "LBCI", from 2006 till 2009. She’s also the Founder and President of two NGOs; May Chidiac Foundation (MCF) and its affiliated Media Institute (MCF-MI) since 2011. The Foundation organizes two annual conferences. May has received several accolades, including a Medal of “Dame de l'ordre de Saint Gregoire-le-Grand” awarded by Pope Francis in 2017. “Chevalier de l’Ordre de la Légion d’Honneur”, decorated by the former President of the French Republic, Jacques Chirac in May 2007 at Elysée Palace. She’s also the author of “Le Ciel M’attendra” (Heaven Can Wait), awarded the “Prix Vérité” in Le Cannet, France, as well as “La Television Mise à Nu” (Influence of politics on the television scene), awarded the "Phoenix Prize" for literature.
