Bank Audi launched “Novo” today, an innovative concept that provides customers full control of a world of interactive banking solutions based on the concept of “Forward Banking.” Using cutting edge technology and a user-friendly interface, this new customer-oriented channel allows users to navigate through the Bank’s products and services and apply for them instantly on multi-touch interactive screens.
“Novo” embodies a new definition of Retail Banking in the market, which is all about customer needs, satisfaction and easy access to banking.” - Dr. Imad Itani, General Manager – Head of Group Retail Banking
Set in a futuristic shell shaped architecture, the Novo booth includes two information stations equipped with state of the art digital screens, two latest generation ATMs which, besides the usual ATM services, enable visitors to deposit cash money and cheques, and a private interactive room ensuring complete confidentiality.
Visitors can browse through the Bank’s products and services and apply for them instantly. They can also benefit from the assistance of advisors at any time through video conference, whether in the two outside information stations, or within the privacy of its isolated advisory room.
The backbone of the “Novo” application is built around complex interactions between visual dynamic controls and database. This ultimate digital banking experience based on seamless interactions, video conferencing and media components, was made possible by using highly developed tools including advanced design patterns, as well as hardware and software mechanisms which allow visitors to enjoy a multi-touch interface. Data is synchronized and fully secure and protected through sophisticated algorithms.
Bank Audi intends to deploy the “Novo” concept and its variations across the Group’s branches and entities in Lebanon and abroad during the coming months, thus spreading the latest technology the Bank and the banking industry have to offer.
